Pricing
You pay for the engine. Everything else is free.
ClassCAD is the engine. Buerli, the SDK for your own CAD applications, costs nothing. ClassCAD.ai, with which AI agents model and write code, is open source. Buerligons, the finished CAD application, is free to use on Free. Money changes hands in one place only: the ClassCAD engine, through a plan or a partnership.
The plans are bought in your account on classcad.ch. Current prices are shown there, in Swiss francs, billed monthly or yearly. Partnerships are arranged with us directly.
The plans
Every new account starts with two weeks of Solo as a trial. After that it falls back to Free, unless you choose a plan.

Three questions decide the plan:
- Is the use commercial? Then Solo at least. Free stays free for private use, teaching and evaluation.
- Do others see your application, for example as a web app on your domain? Then Pro: each seat registers one public domain for the WASM engine.
- Should the engine run natively on your own servers, or be driven from Python and C#? Then Business. It also lifts the domain limit and includes ClassCAD PDM.
Opening files is never limited, in any plan.
Partnerships: Silver and Gold
The plans give you the engine through its API. A partnership goes below the API, into the engine itself. Both partnerships include everything in Business and give you the ClassCAD language: the object-oriented language in which the engine's own classes, features and services are written. Whoever develops in it extends ClassCAD at the level where we build it.
Silver partner

Our first Gold partner is TDM Systems, a Sandvik company. We are open to a limited number of new Gold partners: a Gold partnership means close work with our developers, and we keep the number small so that every partner gets that.
Silver and Gold are priced on demand: partnerships are arranged individually. They can also cover offline use, maintenance and special arrangements. Write to info@awv-informatik.ch.

Value-based, where it fits
The plans are fixed and the same for everyone. Where a case does not fit them, we talk:
- A startup or spin-off with little revenue that needs Business or a partnership: we find a price that fits.
- A large company that brands and deploys our technology at scale: we agree a contract that reflects the value it brings.
Our commitment
We are CAD people. For more than 25 years we have built and customised ClassCAD for a leading global partner: today it runs for tens of thousands of users, embedded in the tool data management system of TDM Systems, a Sandvik company.
We are a small, employee-owned company, built not for venture capital returns but for reliable technology. Our largest customer, TDM/Sandvik, owns 26 % of AWV Informatik AG: close collaboration, and our independence intact.
